As a general clearance guideline, keep at least 7 ft (213 cm) between the floor and the bottom of the chandelier.

Fixture size

Add your room’s length + width in feet to estimate a starting chandelier diameter in inches. For metric measurements, add the room’s length + width in centimeters, then divide by 12 to estimate the chandelier diameter in centimeters.

Fixture placement

Center the chandelier in the room or over the bed for balanced placement. Alternatively, position it toward the foot of the bed to avoid direct overhead placement.
